Windows Security Patch Fail

If you're running Windows Vista or 7, you have either heard of or experienced Window's recent security patch issues. Most if not all of those who allowed Windows to update this patch have been experiencing major issues such as system freeze-ups, driver failures, and even outright operating system crashes. I was one of the unlucky ones. My operating system crashed so badly, it might have actually effected my laptop's physical hard drive. My recovery CD has been unable to re-install my system. Luckily, I store all my files on an external hard drive which has gone unaffected. Still, I'm left without a computer which I use as my primary work tool. I contacted a computer repair expert who knows things I don't. If he can't fix it, I'll have to return it to Dell for repairs or a replacement, which could take 2-3 weeks. I'm not looking forward to having to re-install all my programs all over again.
There are those... some who are highly knowledgeable in this area who are certain that this security patch was malicious in nature and that it was actually designed by Microsoft to crash any out-of-date operating system in order to force people to purchase Windows 8. I seem to remember a similar patch doing the same thing when they wanted Windows users to stop using XP and start using Vista.

deviantART's Old Days

I remember back when deviantART was newish. It was busy, friendly, there weren't so many technical issues, the categories were clear of plagiarized and stolen images, and I could always expect comments on my submissions and journal updates. It seems too quiet here now. Sure, people pop in to update their albums but, then they pop out again. It's like when they transform a diner into some kind of corporate fast food chain. While it is busier than ever, the love and care just kind'a dies. This is what deviantART feels like now. I mean, the people who run this site won't even go out of their way to keep the site clean of crooks. They expect the owners of stolen work to just know their work is being used without their permission, even if the work belongs to major companies such as Sony and Marvel Studios. Highly unrealistic if you ask me. Yes, it's happened. deviantART has sold out. Fella might as well grow one of those awful pony nubs.

Strange Beauty Magazine is something new. The time of choosing between what is considered to be mainstream or alternative is over. Our perception is that such lines can only serve to hinder the freedom of creativity. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, the world contains over 6 billion pairs of eyes, and each of them is looking for something different. We accept it all. Are you a skinny Barbie girl who feels their best dressed in something clean cut and elegant? Are you 1 tattoo away from your natural skin color never being seen again? Are you a hulk of muscle who looks as if you could bench press a truck? Are you a geek who just loved to dress up like a Time Lord at least once a week? Are you a plus-size beauty who loves to dress in Victorian wears and go dancing? We want you. Whether you're male, female, or transsexual, we want you all.
We'll only be able to fit so many of you in each issue so, we will be a little picky. If you aren't chosen, don't let it discourage you. We mainly choose according to the creativity and quality of photos. Yes, your physical appearance does have some bearing but, we are as open-minded as they come. Whether you're a bald cybergoth, an impossible beauty, or a jacked bodybuilder in a bikini, you will all be given your chance to shine.

StefanRamsayGraphics Is An Ass

I contacted StefanRamsayGraphics yesterday about deviantART's submission policies. I told him/her that it is not only against site politics but, also illegal to submit photos which do not belong to you and that cutting out the background from an image and putting your own name on it doesn't actually make it your own or a render for that matter.
This is what I received in reply: "LMAO!! calm down there emo fatty,calm down!i get them from psd dreams.de its a website with renders and you cant do a damn thing about it chubby mcfatfuck,and no i dont think its silly your just hating so go fuck a tree". Is it wrong for me to want to find this person and gut him/her like a fish... for their horrendous spelling and grammar at least?
